I am addicted to Grey’s Anatomy.
I love this show. And not only because McDreamy is, well, dreamy.
It’s intensely interesting, the characters are captivating and the stories are fabulous.
I can’t believe I am this interested in a hospital based show. I watched ER occasionally when it first came out, then I liked some of the characters the last year, but everything inbetween I missed. All the emergency/hospital shows seemed the same.
But not this one.
This one has so many story-lines about the people involved that have me waiting with bated breath. Some are cheesy, some make me cry, and some are like watching a train wreck. I absolutely love with a passion some of the characters, Cristina Yang has to be the funniest character I have watched in a while, Bailey the resident known as the Nazi is so sharply witty and mean I can’t wait to see what she says and does next.
And have I mentioned I am only at the middle of Season 2?
I love watching shows after they have been running a few years, I have 5….whole…seasons to enjoy at this point in time. I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer seasons 1-7 all in a row. Same with 5 seasons of Angel and 6 Feet Under. However, Grey’s isn’t done yet, so once I watch them all, I can watch it weekly, and rumor has it they are contracted up to 8 seasons.
I think. I don’t like reading the internet about it because of spoilers, I am already mad that I googled to see what actress plays Christina tonight and I know now what happens between her and Burke. So, I don’t care who plays who, no more google for me.
It is a guilty secret because it is a bit like a soap opera, dramatic and cheating, lies, love all over the place. But you get to adore the characters so much more since it’s incredibly well written and acted, that I forgive myself for watching it.
And start another episode.

Not so shameful. I love Grey’s Anatomy too. In fact I love McDreamy so much, that I biked 50 MILES in his ride (Dempsey Challenge) last October, just hoping to meet him.
Did I? Unfortunately no. There’s always next year.
Found your blog on Tastespotting and enjoying it lots. The muffins look great. I’m all for putting the kids to work while they still want to. My 10 year old has a thing for Swiffer-ing.
